 🌟 The glory of the name Moudud ✒ 

 The name Moudud is but a very glorious name. Because, Khwaja Moudud Chishti Rahmatullahi Alaihi is one of the ancient teachers of Chishtia sect. Subsequent teachers were further enhanced by his teachings and spiritual blessings. And Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi https://g.co/kgs/2KzEKs was a descendant of Khwaja Maudud Chishti Rahmatullahi Alaihi. So the name "Chishti" is also added at the end of Maulana Maududi's name.

 I do not know, who put the name of Mr. Moudud? But the name Moudud is a very glorious and blessed name.

🌟 Mr. Moudud in the politics ✒ 

 Mr. Moudud became fully involved in politics soon after independence.

 After that he served as a minister in BNP and Jatiya Party.

 And from 2001 to 2006 he was the law minister of the coalition government.

 🌟 Another identity of Mr. Moudud ✒ 

 Mr. Moudud is not only a lawyer and politician - but he is also the son-in-law of the rural poet Jasim Uddin.

 Who knows? Maybe because he is the son-in-law of a rural poet, he gets the sympathy of all parties.

বাংলাদেশের অনুকূল ও প্রতিকূল সময়েও মওদুদ সাহেব নিজের মহিমায় টিকে আছেন।

🌟 মওদুদ নামের মহিমা ✒ 

মওদুদ নামটা কিন্তু অত্যন্ত মহিমান্বিত নাম। কেননা , চিশতিয়া তরিকার অন্যতম আদি গুরু খাজা মওদুদ চিশতি রাহমাতুল্লাহি আলাইহি। তিনির শিক্ষা ও আধ্যাত্মিক বরকতে পরবর্তী গুরুগণ আরও উন্নত হয়েছিলেন। এবং মাওলানা সায়্যেদ আবুল আ'লা মওদুদি হলেন খাজা মওদুদ চিশতি রাহমাতুল্লাহি আলাইহির বংশধর। তাই মাওলানা মওদুদির নামের শেষে "চিশতি" নামটাও সংযুক্ত করা হয়। 

আমি জানি না , মওদুদ সাহেবের নামটা কে রেখেছিলেন ? কিন্তু মওদুদ নামটা অত্যন্ত মহিমান্বিত ও বরকতময় নাম। 

🌟 রাজনীতিতে মওদুদ সাহেব ✒

স্বাধীনতার পর পরই মওদুদ সাহেব রাজনীতিতে সম্পূর্ণভাবে যুক্ত হয়েছিলেন।

এরপরে বিএনপি ও জাতীয় পার্টিতে মন্ত্রীর দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিলেন।

এমনকি এরশাদ সাহেবের আমলের শেষের দিকে তিনি প্রধানমন্ত্রীরও দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিলেন। 

এবং 2001 থেকে 2006 পর্যন্ত তিনি জোট সরকারের আইন মন্ত্রী ছিলেন।

🌟 মওদুদ সাহেবের অন্য পরিচয় ✒

মওদুদ সাহেব শুধু আইনজীবী ও রাজনীতিক হিসেবে না - বরং তিনি পল্লী কবি জসীম উদ্দীনের জামাতাও বটে।

কে জানে ? হয়তো পল্লী কবির জামাতা হওয়ার কারণেই হয়তো তিনি সকল দলেরই সহানুভূতি পেয়ে থাকেন।

একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমার মনে হয় , 2004 থেকে 2006 সাল পর্যন্ত সময়টাতে তিনি যদি বিএনপি ত্যাগ করে জেএমবিতে যোগ দিতেন , তবে হয়তো জেএমবির অন্যতম প্রধান শুরা সদস্য হতেন।

🌟 ভবিষ্যতে হয়তো এমন এক সময় আসবে , তখন মওদুদ সাহেবের মন্ত্রী পরিচয়ের চেয়ে পল্লী কবির জামাতা হিসেবেই তিনি স্মরণীয় হবেন।
