 A person who, despite being president, later forms a new party and opposes the party he has established - is dissatisfied.

 After the assassination of Bangabandhu, General Zia https://is.gd/05O1v became the most powerful person in Bangladesh through various incidents.

 After that BNP was formed to politicize his military power.

 🌟 Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury in the anti-Ershad movement ✒ 

 The Awami League and the BNP then united to remove Mr. Ershad https://is.gd/Ew54e from power.

 And then one of the main coordinators of those two groups was Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury.

 🌟 Minister Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury ✒ 

 Later, when the BNP came to power, he served as a minister. He held important positions from 1991 to 1996.

 When the coalition government returned to power in 2001, he served as foreign minister.

 🌟 President Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury ✒ 

 He became President in November 2001. However, due to internal disputes in the BNP, he retired from the presidency. According to some, he was forced to retire from the presidency because he did not go to visit the shrine of Shaheed Zia.

 Such an event is probably possible in Bangladesh. I don't know if the current president has been removed for not visiting the tomb of the former president in any other country in the world.

 🌟 Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury's new political party "Alternative Section" ✒ 

 I wonder if a former president left his party and formed another political party because of his involvement in political disputes.

 After the establishment of the alternative section, he faced the most obstacles by the BNP, the previous party founded by him and others.

 I think as a political scientist , there is no need for a man to form a political party after becoming president.

 Because, the dignity of the President is such that there is no challenge of law and court against him. If he wants, he can also release the heinous convict who was sentenced to death.

 In a word, the president of each country is the person with the highest status in the country concerned according to the prevailing law and politics.

 Even after receiving such status, he formed a new political party and faced various problems.

 So it seems to me as a political scientist and historian that Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury lowered his own prestige by forming a new political party.

 And thus he is a man dissatisfied with the politics of Bengal.

 🌟 Despite the above mentioned incidents and circumstances, Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury will be remembered as the former President of Bangladesh.

যে ব্যক্তি প্রেসিডেন্ট হওয়া সত্ত্বেও পরে আবার নতুন দল গঠন করে নিজেদের প্রতিষ্ঠিত আগের দলের বিরোধিতা করেন - এমন ব্যক্তিকে অতৃপ্তই বলতে হয়।

🌟 বিএনপি ও অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী ✒

বঙ্গবন্ধুকে হত্যার পরে বিভিন্ন ঘটনার মাধ্যমে জেনারেল জিয়া বাংলাদেশের প্রধান ক্ষমতাবান ব্যক্তিতে পরিণত হয়েছিলেন।

এরপরে নিজের সামরিক ক্ষমতাকে রাজনৈতিক রূপ দেয়ার জন্য গঠন করেছিলেন বিএনপি।

🌟 এরশাদ বিরোধী আন্দোলনে অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী ✒

এরশাদ সাহেবকে ক্ষমতা থেকে অপসারণের জন্য তখন আওয়ামী লীগ আর বিএনপি একজোট হয়ে আন্দোলন করেছিলো।

আর তখন ঐ দুই দলের অন্যতম প্রধান সমন্বয়ক ছিলেন অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী।

🌟 মন্ত্রী অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী ✒

পরে বিএনপি ক্ষমতায় এলে তিনি মন্ত্রীর দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিলেন। 1991 থেকে 1996 সাল পর্যন্ত তিনি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্বে ছিলেন।

আবার 2001 সালে জোট সরকার আবার ক্ষমতায় এলে তিনি পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রীর দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

🌟 রাষ্ট্রপতি অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী ✒

2001 সালের নভেম্বর মাসে তিনি রাষ্ট্রপতি হয়েছিলেন। তবে বিএনপির অভ্যন্তরীণ বিবাদের কারণে তিনি রাষ্ট্রপতির দায়িত্ব থেকে অবসর গ্রহণ করেন। কারোর মতে , শহীদ জিয়ার মাজার জিয়ারত করতে না যাওয়ার কারণেই নাকি তিনিকে রাষ্ট্রপতির দায়িত্ব থেকে অবসরে যেতে বাধ্য করা হয়েছিলো। 

এমন ঘটনা সম্ভবত বাংলাদেশেই সম্ভব। পৃথিবীর অন্য কোন দেশে সাবেক রাষ্ট্রপতির মাজার জিয়ারত না করার কারণে চলমান রাষ্ট্রপতিকে অপসারণ করা হয়েছে কি না - সেটা আমার জানা নাই। 

🌟 অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরীর রাজনৈতিক নতুন দল "বিকল্প ধারা" ✒

আমার আশ্চর্য লাগে , একজন সাবেক রাষ্ট্রপতি নিজের দল ত্যাগ করে আরেকটা রাজনৈতিক দল গঠন করে রাজনৈতিক বিবাদে জড়ানোর কারণে।

বিকল্প ধারা প্রতিষ্ঠার পরে তিনি সবচেয়ে বেশি বাঁধার সম্মুখীন হয়েছিলেন নিজেদের দ্বারা প্রতিষ্ঠিত আগের দল বিএনপির দ্বারাই।

আমি একজন রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞানী হিসেবে মনে করি , কোন মানুষ রাষ্ট্রপতি হওয়ার পরে আর কোন রাজনৈতিক দল করার প্রয়োজন নাই।

কেননা , রাষ্ট্রপতির মর্যাদা এমন যে , তিনির বিরুদ্ধে আইন - আদালতের চ্যালেঞ্জ চলেনা। তিনি চাইলে মৃত্যুদণ্ড প্রাপ্ত জঘন্য আসামিকেও মুক্ত করে দিতে পারেন।

এক কথায় বললে , প্রত্যেক দেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি হচ্ছেন সংশ্লিষ্ট দেশের সর্বোচ্চ মর্যাদা সম্পন্ন ব্যক্তি প্রচলিত আইন ও রাজনীতি অনুসারে।

এমন মর্যাদা প্রাপ্তির পরেও তিনি রাজনৈতিক নতুন দল গঠন করে বিভিন্ন ঝামেলার সম্মুখীন হয়েছিলেন।

তাই একজন রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞানী ও ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমার কাছে মনে হয় , রাজনৈতিক নতুন দল গঠন করে অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী নিজের মর্যাদা নিজেই কমিয়েছিলেন।

আর এভাবেই তিনি হলেন বাংলার রাজনীতির অতৃপ্ত এক পুরুষ। 

🌟 উল্লিখিত ঘটনা ও পরিস্থিতি সত্ত্বেও অধ্যাপক একিউএম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী বাংলাদেশের সাবেক মহামান্য রাষ্ট্রপতি হিসেবে স্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবেন।
