🌟 General Zia was unexpectedly brought to power on 15 August 1975, 3 November and 7 November 1975 after a series of military coups and lawlessness.




But when General Zia was in power, there were small revolts in different cantonments of Bangladesh.




So those rebellions were suppressed by General Zia very harshly and ruthlessly.




But he understood that power could not last that long.




So he founded the BNP to transform his military power into political power.




And this is why even though there was no military power in 1991, Madam Khaleda Zia became the Prime Minister only through the political activities of the BNP.




If General Zia had not founded the BNP, the power of the Zia family would have come to an end after his death in 1981.

🌟 রাজনৈতিক ক্ষমতায় নিজেকে স্হায়ী করার জন্যই জেনারেল জিয়া প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছিলেন বিএনপি।


🌟 1975 সালের 15 আগস্ট , 3 নভেম্বর আর 7 নভেম্বরের সামরিক বিশৃঙ্খলা আর আইন অমান্যের ঘটনাচক্রের পরে প্রায় অপ্রত্যাশিতভাবে জেনারেল জিয়াকে ক্ষমতায় সংযোজন করা হয়েছিলো।


কিন্তু জেনারেল জিয়া সামরিক ক্ষমতা পরিচালনা করার সময়ে বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন ক্যান্টনমেন্টে ছোট ছোট বিদ্রোহ হয়েছিলো।


তাই ঐ বিদ্রোহগুলো জেনারেল জিয়া অত্যন্ত কঠোর ও নির্দয়ভাবে দমন করেছিলেন।


কিন্তু তিনি বুঝেছিলেন , ঐভাবে ক্ষমতা বেশি দিন টিকিয়ে রাখতে পারবেন না।


তাই তিনি নিজের সামরিক ক্ষমতাকে রাজনৈতিক ক্ষমতায় রূপ দেয়ার জন্যই বিএনপি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছিলেন।


আর এই কারণেই 1991 সালে সামরিক ক্ষমতা না থাকলেও , শুধু বিএনপির রাজনৈতিক তৎপরতার মাধ্যমে মেডাম খালেদা জিয়া প্রধানমন্ত্রী হয়েছিলেন।


যদি জেনারেল জিয়া প্রতিষ্ঠা না করতেন বিএনপি , তাহলে 1981 সালে তিনির মৃত্যুর পরেই জিয়া পরিবারের ক্ষমতারও অবসান হতো।
