🌟 In 2012, a sack full of Tk. 70 lakh was found in the car of the then Railway Minister Babu Suranjit Sengupta https://v.gd/82lMV3 .

🌟 ​​Politician Suranjit Babu ✒ 

Suranjit Babu was in the opposition during the time of Bangabandhu. He was the only member of the Opposition in the Constitution Drafting Committee chaired by Dr. Kamal Hossain.

And later he joined Bangladesh Awami League and was active in various political movements.

He was also injured in the August 21, 2004 grenade attack.

🌟 Minister of Railways ✒ 

In 2011, he took over as Railway Minister.

He performed his duties quite well. 

🌟 Money bag ✒ 

But several months after taking charge, a sack was found in his car.

Seventy lakh taka was found in the sack.

But Suranjit Babu, his assistant and even the driver of the car could not say who kept the bag of money in the car.

Due to this incident, Suranjit Babu was appointed as a minister without portfolio from the Ministry of Railways.

It was a sack of money. Not even sacks of potatoes. 

And who unknowingly gives whom a bag of potatoes ? And that is a sack of seventy lakh taka. 

But who or what kept that sack of money in Suranjit Babu's car? - It could not be revealed. 

🌟 For future ministers ✒ 

Those who dream of becoming a minister in the future must remember that being a minister is not a medium to change own fortune. 

There was a time in Bangladesh when it was thought that it was possible to change the fate of an MP-Minister or even a Member-Chairman of the Union Parishad. 

But now due to corruption, MPs and ministers also have to pay compensation due to huge problems.

🌟 2012 সালে তখনের রেলমন্ত্রী বাবু সুরঞ্জিত সেনগুপ্তের https://v.gd/3RnJF4 গাড়িতে সত্তর লাখ টাকা ভরা একটা বস্তা পাওয়া গিয়েছিলো।

🌟 রাজনীতিক সুরঞ্জিতবাবু ✒

বঙ্গবন্ধুর আমলে সুরঞ্জিতবাবু বিরোধী দলে থাকলেও ড. কামাল হোসেনের সভাপতিত্বে সংবিধান প্রণয়ন কমিটির বিরোধী দলীয় একমাত্র সদস্য ছিলেন।

এবং পরবর্তীতে বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামী লীগে যোগদান করে রাজনৈতিক বিভিন্ন আন্দোলনে সক্রিয় ছিলেন।

2004 সালের 21 আগস্ট গ্রেনেড হামলায় তিনিও আহত হয়েছিলেন।

🌟 রেলমন্ত্রী ✒

2011 সালে তিনি রেলমন্ত্রী হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেছিলেন।

মোটামুটি বেশ ভালোভাবেই তিনি দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিলেন। 

🌟 টাকার বস্তা ✒ 

কিন্তু দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্তির বেশ কয়েক মাস পরে তিনির গাড়িতে একটা বস্তার সন্ধান হয়।

বস্তা খুলে তাতে সত্তর লাখ টাকা পাওয়া যায়।

🌟 অমীমাংসিত টাকার বস্তা ✒

কিন্তু সুরঞ্জিতবাবু , তিনির সহকারী এমনকি গাড়ির ড্রাইভারও বলতে পারেন নি সেই টাকার বস্তা কে বা কারা গাড়িতে রেখেছিলো।

🌟 সুরঞ্জিতবাবুর স্হানান্তর ✒ 

এই ঘটনার কারণেই সুরঞ্জিতবাবুকে রেল মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে দপ্তরবিহীন মন্ত্রী নিয়োগ করা হয়। 

🌟 কিছু আলোচনা ✒

সেটা ছিলো টাকার বস্তা। আলু অথবা পটলের বস্তাও না। 

আর কাকে কে অজান্তে আলু অথবা পটলের বস্তা দিয়ে দেয় ? আর সেটা তো সত্তর লাখ টাকার বস্তা। 

কিন্তু সেই টাকার বস্তা কে বা কারা সুরঞ্জিতবাবুর গাড়িতে রেখেছিলো ? - সেটা আর উদঘাটন করা সম্ভব হয় নি। 

🌟 ভবিষ্যতের মন্ত্রীদের জন্য ✒ 

যারা স্বপ্ন দেখছেন ভবিষ্যতে মন্ত্রী হওয়ার , তিনিরা অবশ্যই এটা মনে রাখবেন যে , মন্ত্রী হওয়া কিন্তু ভাগ্য বদলের মাধ্যম না। 

বাংলাদেশে একটা সময় ছিলো , যখন মনে করা হতো , এমপি - মন্ত্রী এমনকি ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের মেম্বার - চেয়ারম্যান হলেই ভাগ্য বদল করা সম্ভব। 

কিন্তু এখন দুর্নীতির কারণে এমপি - মন্ত্রীদেরও বিরাট সমস্যায় জড়িয়ে খেসারত দিতে হয়।
