🌟 Now the Rohingya market is a bigger market in Cox's Bazar than the Burmese market.

🌟 Burmese Market ✒ 

Burmese markets are shops that sell a variety of products written in Burmese Language on the beach.

🌟 Rohingya Market ✒ 

The Rohingya market sits on the east side https://tinyurl.com/y4gona29 of Teknaf Bazar in the morning.

In the Rohingya camp, the market is packed with packaged food and various daily necessities.

🌟 How the product comes to the market ✒

There are some local persons who go to different camps and buy goods at low prices provided by Rohingyas from different countries and NGOs.

And they sell them to the local persons in Teknaf market.

🌟 A combination of huge products ✒ 

There are from hair shampoos, oils, conditioners to toenails in the market.

The food items include delicious food from different countries starting from packaged khichuri (Hotchpotch). 

The packaged khichuri (Hotchpotch) has more items including rice, pulses, salt and almonds. Delicious khichuri (Hotchpotch) is ready only if the items are mixed and cooked.

There are toothpastes - toothbrushes made in different countries .

And many products, including high quality pure soybeans and palm oil.

🌟 That is the reason why the products of Rohingya market are sold so much ✒ 

The reason for the popularity of the Rohingya market is that the products are sold at a much lower price than the conventional products in the Bangladeshi market. 

In the normal market, a liter of pure palm oil costs 100 taka, but in the Rohingya market it costs only 30 to 40 taka. 

But no one doubts buying that palm oil. Because it is provided by a foreign donor organization. And the name of the producing country (Malaysia and Indonesia) and the donor organization are also written on the white square rectangular (Tetra) bottle. 

A bottle of soybean oil is the same, but the price is about ten taka more per palm oil bottle. 

Such a situation exists in almost every product. 

🌟 Rohingya market in each camp ✒ 

The Rohingya market in Teknaf Bazar has been named. 

But there are many shops in each camp. The shops lasted from morning till evening. 

In the few days that I have traveled to different camps, it seems to me that there is more gathering of goods and people than other fairs including the traditional Baishakhi Mela in Bangladesh due to the temporary shops set up in each camp. 

🌟 Legitimacy - invalidity ✒ 

There is no mention of prohibition (illegality) as there is no legitimacy in the sale of that market and foreign goods. 

I have seen that those who are selling and those who are buying - no one talks about the legitimacy or illegality of that.

সমুদ্র সৈকতের পাশে বার্মিজ ভাষায় লিখিত বিভিন্ন পণ্য বিক্রয়কারী দোকান গুলোকেই বার্মিজ মার্কেট বলা হয়।

🌟 রোহিঙ্গা মার্কেট ✒

টেকনাফ বাজারের পূর্ব দিকের রাস্তায় https://tinyurl.com/y4gona29 সকালে বসে রোহিঙ্গা মার্কেট।

রোহিঙ্গা ক্যাম্পে বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে সরবরাহ করা প্যাকেট করা খাবার আর নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় হরেক রকম পণ্য নিয়েই বসে ঐ মার্কেট।

🌟 পণ্য যেভাবে মার্কেটে আসে ✒

স্হানীয় কিছু লোক আছে , যারা বিভিন্ন ক্যাম্পে গিয়ে রোহিঙ্গাদের কাছ থেকে অল্প মূল্যে বিভিন্ন দেশ ও এনজিওদের দ্বারা সরবরাহ করা পণ্য ক্রয় করে।

আর ওগুলো টেকনাফ বাজারের স্হানীয় লোকদের কাছে বিক্রয় করে।

🌟 বিশাল পণ্যের সমাহার ✒

চুলের শ্যাম্পু - তেল - কন্ডিশনার থেকে শুরু করে পায়ের নখ কাটারও আছে ঐ মার্কেটে।

খাদ্য দ্রব্যের মধ্যে আছে প্যাকেট করা খিচুড়ি থেকে শুরু বিভিন্ন দেশের সুস্বাদু খাবার।

প্যাকেট করা খিচুড়িতে চাল , ডাল , লবণ , বাদাম কুচিসহ আরও আইটেম দেয়া আছে। শুধু আইটেমগুলো মিশিয়ে সিদ্ধ করলেই সুস্বাদু খিচুড়ি রেডি।

আছে বিভিন্ন দেশের টুথপেস্ট - টুথব্রাশ।

এবং উৎকৃষ্ট মানের খাঁটি সোয়াবিন আর পামওয়েলসহ অনেক পণ্য।

🌟 যে কারণে রোহিঙ্গা মার্কেটের পণ্যগুলো এতো বিক্রয় হয় ✒

বাংলাদেশের বাজারে প্রচলিত পণ্যের চেয়ে অনেক কমদামে পণ্য বিক্রিই হচ্ছে রোহিঙ্গা মার্কেটের জনপ্রিয়তার কারণ। 

সাধারণ বাজারে এক লিটার খাঁটি পামওয়েলের দাম এক শ টাকা হলেও রোহিঙ্গা মার্কেটে সেটার দাম মাত্র ত্রিশ থেকে চল্লিশ টাকা। 

কিন্তু সেই পামওয়েল ক্রয় করে কেউই সন্দেহ করেন না। কেননা , সেটা বিদেশি দাতা সংস্হা থেকে সরবরাহ করা। এবং প্লাস্টিকের সাদা চারকোণা (টেট্রা) বোতলে উৎপাদনকারী দেশের (মালয়েশিয়া ও ইন্দোনেশিয়া) এবং দাতা সংস্থার নামও লেখা আছে। 

সোয়াবিন তেলের বোতলও একই রকম , তবে দামটা প্রতি বোতলে প্রায় দশ টাকা বেশি। 

এমন অবস্হা প্রায় প্রতিটা পণ্যতেই আছে। 

🌟 প্রতিটা ক্যাম্পে রোহিঙ্গা মার্কেট ✒ 

টেকনাফ বাজারের রোহিঙ্গা মার্কেটের নাম দেয়া হয়েছে। 

কিন্তু প্রতিটা ক্যাম্পে আছে অনেক দোকান। সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত চলে ঐ দোকানগলো। 

আমি যে কয়েকদিন বিভিন্ন ক্যাম্পে ভ্রমণ করেছি , তাতে আমার কাছে মনে হয়েছে , বাংলাদেশে প্রচলিত বৈশাখী মেলাসহ অন্যান্য মেলার চেয়ে পণ্য ও লোক সমাগম হয় বেশি প্রতিটা ক্যাম্পে বসানো অস্থায়ী দোকানগুলোর কারণে। 

🌟 বৈধতা - অবৈধতা ✒ 

উক্ত মার্কেট ও বিদেশি পণ্য বিক্রয়ের যেমন বৈধতাও নাই , তেমনি নিষেধও (অবৈধতাও) উল্লেখ নাই। 

আমি দেখেছি , যারা বিক্রয় করছেন আর যারা ক্রয় করছেন - কেউই ঐ বিষয়ে বৈধতা অথবা অবৈধতার কথা বলেনও না। 

বরং এতেই তিনিরা আনন্দিত যে , বিদেশি সংস্হা থেকে প্রাপ্ত পণ্য রোহিঙ্গারা বিক্রয় করে টাকা পাচ্ছেন আর বাংলাদেশিরা অনেক কম মূল্যে উৎকৃষ্ট দ্রব্য পাচ্ছেন। © All Right Reserved. Junayedmn1@gmail.com Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
