🌟 🌟 🌟 Bangabandhu declared independence on March 7, 1971 for the following reasons.
🌟 Mismanagement of Pakistan ✒
East Pakistan and West Pakistan gained independence from Britain in 1947.
But the rulers of West Pakistan did not treat the people of East Pakistan well.
Rather, the West Pakistanis were a more ruthless ruler than Britain.
🌟 Article of the anti-Pakistan movement ✒
The anti-Pakistan movement started in 1947.
Especially the language movement was one of them.
An organization called "Tamaddun Majlis" was formed in 1947 under the leadership of Professor Abul Qasim to acquire the rights of Bengali language.
Thus began the anti-Pakistan movement.
🌟 Other issues ✒
Other issues also started the anti-Pakistan movement led by Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani and other leaders. And their collaborator was the young leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
🌟 Bangabandhu in language movement ✒
Although Bangabandhu was in jail in 1952, he was associated with the language movement.
But Bangabandhu's involvement with the language movement was not so mentioned in history due to his imprisonment.
🌟 Six points ✒
Six points was one of the demands for the rights of Bangladeshis (then East Pakistan).
Originally, Bangabandhu gained huge popularity in East Pakistan and West Pakistan through six points.
🌟 Naming of Bangladesh ✒
Bangabandhu renamed East Pakistan on 5 December 1969, Bangladesh.
According to some, Bangabandhu took the name Bangladesh from Ravi Tagore's poem, "Today from the heart of Bangladesh ...".
Again, according to some, from the poems of the poet Nazrul (Namah Namah Namah Bangladesh Namah).
However, the name Bangladesh was in the writings of many poets including Sukanta Bhattacharya (From Himalayas to Sundarbans, Suddenly Bangladesh : - Durmar).
As a historian, I think that naming by Bangabandhu became a matter of competition for the West Pakistanis.
🌟 Achieving various titles of Sheikh Mujib ✒
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was conferred the title of Bangabandhu on 23 February 1969 by Mr. Tofail.
On 3 March 1971, Bangabandhu was conferred the title of Father of the Nation.
As a historian, I think these titles were unbearable for Yahya Khan and other rulers of West Pakistan.
Because Pakistanis consider Mr. Jinnah to be the father of the nation - but calling Sheikh Mujib of East Pakistan the father of the nation at that time may be unbearable for West Pakistanis.
This was made possible by the then jealous - small minded West Pakistanis.
🌟 Winning the election ✒
Although Bangabandhu and other leaders won the election against the local agents of West Pakistan, they were not given the right.
In fact, it was the most important reason for the March 7 speech.
🌟 The keynote address of the March 7 speech ✒
On March 7, Bangabandhu declared, "This time the struggle is for our liberation, this time the struggle is for freedom."
As a historian, I think that announcement struck a chord in the minds of the then rulers of West Pakistan.
Originally, the main point of the March 7 speech was that announcement.
🌟 Representation of the people and predecessors of Bangla ✒
The speech of March 7 was the manifestation of various leaders and Bangabandhu's movement from 1947 to 1971.
As a historian, I think that Bangabandhu, in fact, delivered the speech on March 7, representing the people of Bangla and their predecessors.
🌟 The applicability of the speech of March 7 ✒
The March 7 speech is certainly an important event in history.
But at present that speech never applies.
Because, Bangabandhu gave that speech against foreign, mischievous Pakistanis.
But now Bangladesh is independent and ruling by Bangladeshi politicians.
So if any politician in imitation of Bangabandhu declares against the present rulers, "This time the struggle is for our liberation, this time the struggle is for freedom." - But it will never be acceptable.

🌟🌟 🌟 নিম্নোক্ত কারণেই 1971 সালের সাতই মার্চ বঙ্গবন্ধু স্বাধীনতা ঘোষণা করেছিলেন।
🌟 পাকিস্তানের অপশাসন ✒
1947 সালে ব্রিটেন থেকে পূর্ব পাকিস্তান ও পশ্চিম পাকিস্তান স্বাধীনতা লাভ করেছিল।
কিন্তু পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের জনগণের প্রতি পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের শাসকদের ভালো আচরণ ছিল না।
বরং ব্রিটেনের চেয়ে বেশি নির্মম শাসক ছিল পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানিরা।
🌟 পাকিস্তান বিরোধী আন্দোলনের ধারা ✒
1947 সাল থেকেই পাকিস্তান বিরোধী আন্দোলন শুরু হয়েছিল।
বিশেষ করে ভাষা নিয়ে আন্দোলন ছিল অন্যতম।
বাংলা ভাষার অধিকার অর্জনের জন্য 1947 সালেই অধ্যাপক আবুল কাসেমের নেতৃত্বে গঠিত হয় "তমদ্দুন মজলিস" নামক সংগঠন।
এভাবেই শুরু হয়েছিল পাকিস্তান বিরোধী আন্দোলনের।
🌟 অন্যান্য ইস্যু ✒
অন্যান্য ইস্যুর মাধ্যমেও পাকিস্তান বিরোধী আন্দোলন শুরু হয়েছিল মাওলানা আব্দুল হামিদ খান ভাসানীসহ আরো নেতাদের নেতৃত্বে। আর তিনিদের সহযোগী ছিলেন তরুণ নেতা শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান।
🌟 ভাষা আন্দোলনে বঙ্গবন্ধু ✒
1952 সালে বঙ্গবন্ধু কারাগারে থাকলেও ভাষা আন্দোলনের সঙ্গে সংশ্লিষ্ট ছিলেন।
কিন্তু কারাগারে থাকার কারণে ভাষা আন্দোলনের সঙ্গে বঙ্গবন্ধুর সংশ্লিষ্টতা ইতিহাসে তেমন উল্লিখিত ছিল না।
🌟 ছয় দফা ✒
ছয় দফা ছিল বাংলাদেশিদের (তখন পূর্ব পাকিস্তান) অধিকার অর্জনের অন্যতম দাবী।
মূলতঃ ছয় দফার মাধ্যমেই তখন বঙ্গবন্ধু পূর্ব পাকিস্তান ও পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানে বিশাল জনপ্রিয়তা অর্জন করেছিলেন।
🌟 বাংলাদেশের নামকরণ ✒
বঙ্গবন্ধু 1969 সালের 5 ডিসেম্বর পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের নাম করণ করেছিলেন , বাংলাদেশ।
কারোর মতে , বাংলাদেশ নামটা বঙ্গবন্ধু নিয়েছিলেন রবি ঠাকুরের , "আজি বাংলাদেশের হৃদয় হতে ....." কবিতা থেকে।
আবার কারো মতে , কবি নজরুলের (নমঃ নমঃ নমঃ বাংলাদেশ নমঃ) কবিতা থেকে।
তবে , বাংলাদেশ নামটা সুকান্ত ভট্টাচার্যসহ (হিমালয় থেকে সুন্দরবন , হঠাৎ বাংলাদেশ :- দুর্মর) অনেক কবির লেখাতেই ছিল।
একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমার মনে হয় , বঙ্গবন্ধু কর্তৃক ঐ নামকরণ পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানিদের কাছে স্পর্ধার বিষয়ে পরিণত হয়েছিল।
🌟 শেখ মুজিবের বিভিন্ন উপাধি অর্জন ✒
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান 1969 সালের 23 ফেব্রুয়ারি তোফায়েল সাহেব কর্তৃক বঙ্গবন্ধু উপাধি প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিলেন।
1971 সালের 3 মার্চ বঙ্গবন্ধুকে জাতির পিতা উপাধি প্রদান করা হয়।
একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমার মনে হয় , ঐসকল উপাধি ইয়াহিয়া খানসহ পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের অন্যান্য শাসকদের কাছে অসহ্য ছিল।
কেননা , মিস্টার জিন্নাহকে পাকিস্তানিরা জাতির পিতা মানে - কিন্তু সেই সময়ে পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের শেখ মুজিবকে জাতির পিতা উপাধি দেয়া পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানিদের অসহ্যের কারণ হতেই পারে।
এমনটা তখনের হিংসুক - ছোটলোক পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানিদের দ্বারাই সম্ভব ছিল।
🌟 নির্বাচনে বিজয়ী হওয়া ✒
পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের এদেশীয় এজেন্টদের বিরুদ্ধে নির্বাচনে বঙ্গবন্ধু ও অন্যান্য নেতারা বিজয়ী হলেও অধিকার দেয়া হয়নি।
প্রকৃতপক্ষে সাতই মার্চের ভাষণের এটা ছিল অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ।
🌟 সাতই মার্চের ভাষণের মূল বক্তব্য ✒
সাতই মার্চে বঙ্গবন্ধুর ঘোষণা,"এবারের সংগ্রাম আমাদের মুক্তির সংগ্রাম , এবারের সংগ্রাম স্বাধীনতার সংগ্রাম।"
একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমার মনে হয় , ঐ ঘোষণা তখনের পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের শাসকদের মনে প্রচণ্ড আঘাত করেছিল।
মূলতঃ সাতই মার্চের ভাষণের মূল বক্তব্য ছিল ঐ ঘোষণা।
🌟 বাংলার জনগণ ও পূর্বসূরিদের প্রতিনিধিত্ব ✒
1947 থেকে 1971 সাল পর্যন্ত বিভিন্ন নেতা ও বঙ্গবন্ধুর আন্দোলনের বহিঃপ্রকাশ ছিল সাতই মার্চের ভাষণ।
একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমার মনে হয় , প্রকৃতপক্ষে বাংলার জনগণ ও পূর্বসূরি নেতাদের প্রতিনিধি হয়েই বঙ্গবন্ধু সাতই মার্চের ভাষণ দিয়েছিলেন।
🌟 সাতই মার্চের ভাষণের প্রযোজ্যতা ✒
সাতই মার্চের ভাষণ অবশ্যই ইতিহাসের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়।
কিন্তু বর্তমানে ঐ ভাষণ কখনই প্রযোজ্য না।
কেননা , বঙ্গবন্ধু সেই ভাষণ দিয়েছিলেন পরদেশি , অপশাসক পাকিস্তানিদের বিরুদ্ধে।
কিন্তু এখন বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন এবং বাংলাদেশি রাজনীতিকদের দ্বারা পরিচালিত হচ্ছে।
তাই বঙ্গবন্ধুর অনুকরণে কোন রাজনীতিক যদি বর্তমানের শাসকদের বিরুদ্ধে ঘোষণা করেন ,"এবারের সংগ্রাম আমাদের মুক্তির সংগ্রাম , এবারের সংগ্রাম স্বাধীনতার সংগ্রাম।" - তবে সেটা কখনই গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না।
🌟 আজ সাতই মার্চ 2021 বঙ্গবন্ধুর ভাষণের পঞ্চাশ বছর হয়েছে।
