 🌟 March 25 murder ✒

 The massacre was carried out on the orders of Yahya Khan after failing to negotiate with Bangabandhu.

 The killings were dubbed "Operation Searchlight" by Pakistani forces.

 It is one of the genocides in history.

 🌟 Bangabandhu arrested ✒

 On the one side, Operation Searchlight killed unarmed people, on the other side, by arresting Bangabandhu, a tactic was used to spread panic among all freedom-loving Bangladeshis on the night of March 25.

 As if seeing the killing of the people and the arrest of Bangabandhu, other freedom fighters became terrified and became loyal to the Pak army.

 But the Pak army could not suppress the freedom fighters of Bangladesh.

 🌟 March 7 speech and March 25 genocide ✒ 

 On March 7, Bangabandhu declared the struggle for independence.

 Further announced, to build forts in every house.

 As a historian, I think the Pak army itself was frightened by Bangabandhu's announcement.

 So the killings took place before the fort was built in every house.

 From March 7 to 25, in just 18 days, the Pak army started killing out of fear, so that the Bangladeshis could not be prepared for what they had.

 🌟 But through the March 25 killings, the Pak army could not suppress the Bangladeshis.

 The brave Bengalis had just achieved independence.

🌟 25 মার্চের হত্যাকাণ্ড ✒

বঙ্গবন্ধুর সঙ্গে আলোচনায় ব্যর্থ হয়ে ইয়াহিয়া খানের হুকুমে ঘটানো হয়েছিল ঐ হত্যাকাণ্ড।

পাক বাহিনী কর্তৃক ঐ হত্যাকাণ্ডের নাম রাখা হয়েছিল , "অপারেশন সার্চলাইট"।

এটা ইতিহাসের অন্যতম গণহত্যা। 

🌟 বঙ্গবন্ধুকে গ্রেফতার ✒

একদিকে অপারেশন সার্চলাইটের মাধ্যমে নিরস্ত্র জনগণকে হত্যা , আবার অন্যদিকে বঙ্গবন্ধুকে গ্রেফতার করে মুক্তিকামী সকল বাংলাদেশিদের মধ্যে আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়ে দমন করার অপকৌশল প্রয়োগ করা হয়েছিল 25 মার্চের রাতে।

যেন জনগণকে হত্যা আর বঙ্গবন্ধুকে গ্রেফতার দেখে অন্যান্য মুক্তিকামীরা আতঙ্কিত হয়ে পাক বাহিনীর অনুগত হয়।

কিন্তু পাক বাহিনী পারে নি বাংলার মুক্তিকামীদের দমন করতে।

🌟 7 মার্চের ভাষণ ও 25 মার্চের গণহত্যা ✒

7 মার্চে বঙ্গবন্ধু ঘোষণা দিয়েছিলেন স্বাধীনতার সংগ্রামের।

আরও ঘোষণা দিয়েছিলেন , প্রত্যেক ঘরে ঘরে দুর্গ গড়ে তোলার।

একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমার মনে হয় , বঙ্গবন্ধুর ঐ ঘোষণায় পাক বাহিনী নিজেই ভয় পেয়েছিল।

তাই প্রত্যেক ঘরে দুর্গ গড়ে তোলার আগেই ঐ হত্যাকাণ্ড ঘটিয়েছিল।

7 থেকে 25 মার্চ , মাত্র 18 দিনের মধ্যেই পাক বাহিনী নিজেদের ভয়ের কারণে হত্যাকাণ্ড শুরু করেছিল , যেন বাংলাদেশিরা নিজেদের যা কিছু আছে , তাই নিয়ে প্রস্তুত থাকতে না পারে।

🌟 কিন্তু 25 মার্চের হত্যাকাণ্ডের মাধ্যমে পাক বাহিনী পারে নি বাংলাদেশিদের দমন করতে।

বীর বাঙালি ঠিকই স্বাধীনতা অর্জন করেছিল।
