🌟 Twenty-one is my pride ✒ 


On February 21, 1952, students and people were martyred in Dhaka city demanding Bangla, the state language of the then East Pakistan.


In no other country in the world has anyone been martyred for the language.


As a result, Twenty-one February has been declared as The International Mother Language Day.


So, twenty-one is my pride.


🌟 Twenty-five is my pain ✒ 


On February 25, 2009, 57 army officers were martyred.


In no country's war or in any military coup, so many army officers have been killed in such a day.


Incidentally, the two incidents took place on The 21st and 25th of February.

🌟 একুশ আমার অহঙ্কার ✒ 


১৯৫২ সালের একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি তৎকালীন পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের রাষ্ট্রভাষা বাংলার দাবিতে ঢাকা শহরে ছাত্র-জনতা শহিদ হয়েছিলেন।


পৃথিবীর অন্য কোন দেশে ভাষার জন্য কেউ শহিদ হননি।


ফলে একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারিকে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।


তাই একুশ আমার অহঙ্কার।


🌟 পঁচিশ আমার বেদনার ✒ 


২০০৯ সালের পঁচিশে ফেব্রুয়ারি ৫৭ জন সেনা অফিসারকে শহিদ করা হয়েছিল।


পৃথিবীর কোন দেশের যুদ্ধে অথবা কোন সেনা অভ্যুত্থানে এভাবে এতো সেনা অফিসারকে একদিনে হত্যা করা হয়নি।


ঘটনাচক্রে ওই দুটি ঘটনা ঘটেছে ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসের একুশ ও পঁচিশ তারিখে।
